Reflections on my first six months as an apprentice with Greater Manchester Police Reflections on my first six months as an apprentice with Greater Manchester Police

by Emma Woodhead

I have made so much progress within my role as a business administrator. Over the last six months, I have gained some experience in working with the whole unit when dealing with a multi-agency operation. I have also been given the opportunity to arrange external meetings for sergeants within the unit. Whilst working on the Crime Triage Desk, I have also been trained to deal with actions and referrals from Action Fraud (the UK's national reporting centre for fraud and cyber-crime). My supervisors have been so pleased with my progress and development that they gave me a pay rise!
