Reflections on February 2017 as an apprentice with Withers LLP
During the last few weeks, I have been engaging in the usual admin tasks such as scanning documents into client workspaces, archiving files and assisting with letters to clients. On top of this, I have recently been introduced to the process of client billing, which I find particularly interesting. I have been working on an individual bill with a secretary which involves liaising with the relevant fee-earner for approval of the bill before it is finalised. I have also recently been introduced to the process of conflict checking which must be completed for every potential new client.
My experiences are helping me to fulfil the requirements of my apprenticeship as well as thrive from new opportunities. I continue to learn and develop my skills and am thoroughly enjoying my experience here at Withers.
