My second month as an apprentice with the Crown Prosecution Service Guildford
February has continued to be a month of learning and development as I continue to discover more about the CPS. I have been preparing papers and media packages for forthcoming hearings and have undertaken training outside of the office. On top of this, I have visited both the magistrate’s and Crown Court to be able to see where the papers that I prepare end up and how a genuine court case works. These were brilliant experiences as they enabled me to see the results of my work and what happens outside of the office. I was also lucky enough to visit the CPS office in Brighton to talk to the other apprentices there and gain valuable insight into how to successfully complete my apprenticeship. My apprenticeship is certainly preparing me for all elements of full-time work!
