David Luke Ltd is a small employer based in Ardwick, Manchester. The company is a supplier of schoolwear and in 2012 proudly celebrated 30 years in business. They needed someone in their customer service department and thought an apprentice would be a good way forward. David Luke initially contacted The National Apprenticeship Service through the Manchester Revolution Campaign and were referred to Damar Training. Damar helped the company find their apprentice, Milly Booth, and are now delivering the training and assessment. With the support of David Luke and Damar, Milly's career has gone from strength to strength. She has completed her Intermediate Apprenticeship in Customer Service and recently progressed onto an Advanced Apprenticeship. Buoyed by the success of their first appointment, David Luke has just taken on a second apprentice.

I have found after joining the David Luke team I have developed as a person and my confidence has improved so much. I am very happy I had the opportunity to be taken on by David Luke Ltd.”
