What is your current role?

Medical Administration Trainer.

What does your role involve?

I have been working for Damar since 2010 primarily delivering our business administration apprenticeships. More recently, Damar has taken on a new apprenticeship in medical administration and I was one of the first trainers to start delivering this in hospitals and GP surgeries.

How do you juggle work and being a mum?

Damar has always been very supportive and since having children, I work part time. I have a very good work-home balance and this allows me to focus on both aspects equally.

I am returning to work in a few weeks after having my third child and although I still feel anxious about leaving her, I am looking forward to returning. Everyone is so friendly that it’ll feel like I’ve never been away!

What do you enjoy most about your role?

I enjoy the sense of achievement when you see a student complete their qualification. Knowing that I have been a part of their training and career progression gives me job satisfaction.

How are you hoping to spend Mother’s Day this year?

I am hoping to have a relaxing day with my family. Now I’m a mother of three, I’m not sure how relaxing this will be for me!
