Legal apprenticeships give firms a way to recruit talented young people and develop them into fee-earning roles. For apprentices they are a way into the Law with no student debt.

The core qualification within this apprenticeship is the City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Legal Administration. Most students will complete 12-14 different units, all of which relate to their job role. These are assessed via a combination of on-line tests, portfolio of evidence, practical demonstration and assignment. Depending on the apprentice’s prior qualifications, Maths, English and IT components may also be included. Example units from the Diploma include:
