Smith Jones welcome their first two Damar legal apprentices

Personal injury solicitors and accident specialists Smith Jones have welcomed their first two legal apprentices, both of whom are studying with Damar. Articles about the firm’s first appointment, Jake Fielding and second legal apprentice Pierre Mayhew are featured on Smith Jones’ website.

Anne-Marie Bradley, HR manager with Smith Jones outlines the firm’s approach:

“We want to ‘home-grow’ the next generation of legal talent through delivering legal apprenticeships to people aged 18 – 24. With this in mind we are delighted to welcome Jake and now Pierre to the team. In partnership with Damar Training, the apprenticeship offers an alternative route to a career in law, combining a paid job with the training, assessment and study required to meet the standard expected in the legal field. By the end of their apprenticeships, Jake and Pierre will each have acquired a nationally recognised legal qualification, awarded by the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.”
