Clarity wins award for apprentice scheme

Clarity Travel Management has been recognised for its apprentice scheme to develop the skills of new staff.

The Manchester-based TMC set up its Trailblazers Travel Apprenticeship two years ago in partnership with Damar Training. The programme combines job experience with classroom and project-based qualifications.

The scheme has now received the Retail Skills for Business award at the Manchester Skills for Business ceremony.

Clarity’s CEO Pat McDonagh said: “We believe our apprentice programme is creating stars of the future.

“It is a great approach for our business that is already reaping rewards in terms of the calibre of people in our organisation. This will only improve standards across the board as those who come through the programme will then help train future apprentices.

“To be recognised for our industry-leading apprenticeships is fantastic and testament to Clarity’s investment in the best people in the business, who can provide the best service to our clients as our company grows.”
