Farnfields Solicitors gives young apprentices a pathway into Law

Meril George and Katie Mead (both aged 20) from Farnfields Solicitors have completed their Business Administration Apprenticeships, defying the common stereotype that the only way into law, is by attending university. Damar and MASS Training form new partnership to offer a specialist RTA apprenticeship programme

Apprenticeship specialists Damar Training and MASS Training, the training arm of the Motor Accident Solicitors Society, have teamed up to enable aspiring personal injury lawyers to access the MASS Diploma in Personal Injury as part of an apprenticeship. Much of the cost of the apprenticeship training and the Diploma can bemet via the apprenticeship levy or Government subsidies for non-levy paying employers.

Plexus Law’s legal apprenticeship programme wins accolade

Damar Training’s 2018 “Employer of the Year” is Plexus Law. The firm was chosen by a panel of judges and the award announced and presented during this year’s National Apprenticeship Week (March 5-9). Damar has worked with well over 400 employers over the past year and so winning the award is a huge achievement.

Council Apprentice Wins Prestgious Award

Georgia Buckley, who started her course based at the Council in May 2017, has won Apprentice of the Year and Higher Apprentice of the Year for her excellent work based learning at Stockport Council during the past year. She has contributed to a wide variety of work areas supporting the regeneration of the town centre.
